The Visual Curves of Stories

Undoubtably one of the great writers and story-tellers of the 20th century, Kurt Vonnegut has a delightfully human, personal, hilarious and profound way of explaining things. And in this old video clip, armed only with a chalk board, he scratches at the great alluring appeal of narrative.

And whilst you are laughing your mind will be opened to some beautiful truths not just about stories but human desires themselves which underpin all great stories. His death in 2007 was a sad loss to the world but little morsels of genius like this live on through the glories of YouTube.
